Day 1/50 of #C09SWT5DCGY|:
I had a busy day today, so I didn't manage to do a lot (great way to start this). What I managed to do was:
• I added a 'run' phony target in my project's Makefile
• Added a start label to my bootloader
• Fiddled like 30 minutes with git trying to rebase a random commit
PS: Join #C08B0TRLQMN| to follow the development process in real time :)
A few days ago I started working on a very ambitious project: an Operating System!
I decided to call it DimOS. It's up on my Gitea (gitea.dumiserver.space/dumitru/dimOS).
I managed to set up the development environment, code a basic bootloader and create a Makefile. For now, the only thing the kernel does is print a 'Q' to the screen to indicate that it was loaded correctly
Today I really didn't feel like coding so I decided to quickly binge "<https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7366338/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_1|Chernobyl (2019)>" (really great series, it's my third time watching it. Despite that, I still managed to create a new icon for my app and learned how controller input works in Love2D.
Today I didn't manage to do a lot because I was quite busy, but I managed to create a script that automates the process of building/bundling the app for muOS, which is going to make the process of testing the app a lot easier
Managed to get the app working on the console (man is it hard to do things without clear documentation)
Today I started working on a new project: Fantasy Downloader
It's an app made with Love2D for mustardOS that will streamline the process of acquiring games/cartridges for fantasy consoles like PICO-8
I created a simple "Hello World" program and wrote a simple design document to hold all my ideas in one place
Started working on an Unverified User Menu for my BBS
