@NikoPurdie3Day 4
1. Had a massive sleep in! Didn't sleep until 2am last night because I was out so late so slept in until 12PM as it's a Saturday!
2. Did a ton of study for Level 3 Economics on Monday!
3. A bit of work for #C07KRNHG339|
4. Biked down to my yacht club and then went to the gym there
5. Had a relaxing day, got some sailing and study for tomorrow, and after Monday I'll be free (for a week), and then I have 4 exams on the last week of exams
finally free after that though!
Overall, a good day!

@NikoPurdie3Day 3
1. A bit of fraud stuff
2. Got some study done for Level 3 Economics, my exam is on Monday!
3. Went out for the afternoon with some mates
4. PBTech Black Friday!
5. Got a headset and a DJI Mic for making content for hackathons I run! Also won a free 10k mAH powerbank!
6. Went to the run club I normally go to
a. Went out for dinner after this, it was super useful talking about startup stuff with a few people, we're all pretty focused on the end goal - they're all in their early 20s so it's interesting to talk to them about it! biggest thing I can take from the convo is take risks, do dumb shit while you can - people pay more attention if you're younger and will give you more opportunities.
7. Just got home now at 12am, had incredible talks, a great dinner, and it's real nice to do this every week and meet people as obsessed as building things as myself!
8. Other then this it was a typical day, need to do more work on #C08HX0F11BP| and #C07KRNHG339| tomorrow after a well deserved sleep in.
@jenin3Day 4:
Parthenon! The hackathon started and it’s so great. I’ve been having a ton of fun conversations with Hack Clubbers.
It’s such a great reminder of how big the community is and how there are so many people having life changing experiences in Hack Club and aren’t on the Slack every day. It really makes Hack Club feel very real talking to people in person.
Huge shoutout to @phthallo , @reem , @phaedra , and the entire organizing team for making this happen. This weekend is gonna be amazing

*day 4/50*
alright, due to recovering from being sick and procrastination ™️ I have not gotten much done today, though I did rewrite the kk slider implementation, prepped some things for release, and started on a readme for tanuki! here it is with the (default

@Azzy-U08PLHD4L2J250 days challenge ❄️ Daily update #2 | Streak: 2 days :3
Stuff I did for my goals
• I solved 50+ integrals today and I'm finally getting it a little bit now (my last bit of work is attached where I absolutely lost my mind and doodled something random). In the mix: Riemann sums, trapezoid rules, definite integrals, limit definitions, using geometry to get the integrals, piecewise integrals, additive integral properties, and transformations...
• I went to my university for an AIChE (american institute of chemical engineers) meetup and got a sticker + 2 free slices of pizza
• Got 3,555 steps today cus it was very busy with my 5 credit hour chem class at uni
Productive stuff in general (kind of fulfills goal #1 to work on what "serves me")
• I took my AP Bio and Spanish tests today
• I edited a video of my school's Diwali celebration which had hundreds of students involved during lunch! I'm an executive board member for the organizing club and it was really cool to see everything come together
• I revised an abstract for a small research project I'm working on and coordinated with my team members on what to do next. It's about nanoparticles!
• I wrapped up the student representative application I mentioned yesterday with 2 more big essays and revising the previous ones!
Nice stuff
• I am seriously behind on the apps that my friends are installing these days because I used to have an iPhone 6s and it wouldn't lemme download any apps because they upgraded iOS and I have full storage... but I got a refurb iPhone 14 because my previous phone crashed and wouldn't get any messages and its AWESOME
• I downloaded Spotify today and man it is way more convenient than what I used to do by making playlists on YouTube on my computer...
I have a debate tournament on Saturday so I have to lock in and work on a lot of prep tomorrow, wish me luck!
@zrl3Day 2 update:
Sadly I'm still sick and I didn't get as much as I wanted done.
Did a small amount of prep for Parthenon this weekend. So excited! My sister baked cookies in my house for every attendee, so it smelled like cookies all day.
Had a meeting with a partner to talk about some 2025 plans. I'm trying to get all the orgs that care about coding to align on helping people make actually real projects - and Hack Club can help with that.
Did some thinking on dashboarding. We really need a good way to understand how all the current fall 2025 programs are tracking. We had that for summer and don't have that now.
Reviewed our 990 before filing it and gave the last round of edits before it's submitted.
Did a little bit of thinking on how to better surface and communicate awesome projects by Hack Clubbers. When you make an awesome project - whether you're a beginner or really advanced - you should feel super celebrated by the community. It's also important that projects are curated in some way for the community - or else it can feel like everything is slop. When the truth is if 20% of projects are not super high quality (everyone starts somewhere) but there are just a lot of projects overall, those 20% feel like 100% of the projects.
I'm almost wondering if something like Hacker News but for Hack Clubber projects could be cool. Or some other way to explore really cool things. Here's one really cool project by a Hack Clubber for Summer of Making I saw for the first time today: github.com/SamoZ256/hydra
And that's kind of all for today. Leaving at 6:30 AM tomorrow to drive to NYC for Parthenon. So excited!
@PianoMan00Worked on the site for Plugin, a WIP Hack Club YSWS! Made some really good progress today, I'm excited!
@NicolasFecko0Finally Finished and published the Website for Hack Club Slovakia
@Sam-U09MB4X9D520github.com/SamuelPhilpott/Rasberry-Pi-for-hack-club how did I do?@Star0Good morning everyone! (oh shoot, it's actually 4pm here rn... it still feels like morning lol)
Yesterday Luca ( @Slloom ) and I finished the boba drops workshop with our club! (Almost) everyone was able to submit, but hopefully everyone else will be able to submit it within a few days. Shoutout Natalie (@?) who went above and beyond on her website and kept adding to it in between meetings! Check it out here! I think Luca and I will plan to do swirl in the next few meetings, and then maybe we'll start to introduce limited time YSWSs.
I've made some more updates to my personal website, mostly aesthetic. I moved The Ghost to a secondary page so the main page can be more of an intro. I've got a small About Me, some links, and a projects section. I want to set that bit up like the SoM projects page: image, description, links, etc. but I'm not sure how... Yet. Apart from that, I think I'll try to do Blueprint, since I never got to submit the project I made for Highway, but I may not get to it till after Nov 9 when I finish the play I'm part of, The Play That Goes Wrong. I'd like to do Moonshot, since I really enjoyed Juice, but my parents don't want me to go to any more travel HC events after Neighborhood (even though I wasn't there), which I get for safety reasons, but also I've found no other organization that does what HC does in terms of travel events. Maybe in a year or so, if HC implements enough safety policies and such to my parents satisfaction, I'll be able to go to another. We'll see. (If someone at HQ wants to hear what safety stuff, dm me, cuz I'm sure other parents would want them as well)
Anyways, on a completely separate note, Everyone keeps mishearing "Hack Club" as "Hat Club" so I wonder if we should rename the club from a very boring school-name-hack-club to The Mad Hackkers. What do you think?
@virtualfuzz0Hello I am back from the dead
designed one club poster for my club (that im attempting to restart again), also wrote an announcement to be published once we got the authorizations ready
i'm planning to make one poster a day, each one with a different design until i think we have enough poster designs
also did a pull request to fix the hackclub webring since the code to join it was actually interpreted as html code github.com/hackclub/webring/pull/249
very nice day
@Star0Luca ( @Slloom ) and I hosted our first ever Hack Club meeting on 9/25! We had way more interest than we expected - 8 people! We handed out snacks and stickers, and then had everyone get Github, VS Code, Slack, and generally get set up to code. Then on 9/30 we hosted a Boba Drops Workshop, and had even more people come - 10! Almost everyone finished the workshop in the time they could stay for (1-2 hours). It was super rewarding to see people who had literally never touched coding in their lives code a website they were proud of! There were a few who themed their websites around their favorite video games, and another kept working on it after and came up to me yesterday with a second page with lots of poetry :) It was cool to see how what they were passionate about leaked into what hopefully will become a new passion!
Doing the Boba Drops workshop reminded me that I have a website that I should work on, but so far I've only made minor changes (I've been really busy with schoolwork and I'm in the school play!), so I'll save an update on that for another time.
Keep an eye out for a post on 10/10 when we do demos of the websites people made!
@HenriqueDaSilva0I made this in a few seconds in ibis paint, I also submitted it as a potential hack club logo on #C089NANT5B3|
@anasamchaar0My club's kick off post😉 stay tuned for what's coming next.
@LukongOsmond0Yesterday was very interesting as we participating in the hack club where we are building scrappy stuffs to have fun. Let's see what we will have at the end
#C09CV6QDGRW|
@FloraFavour0Today is so amazing,exciting and enriching. As our first time participating in a Hack Club activity, it is really a fascinating experience as we learned how to think out of the box and come out with the most crazy and useless ideas.
Thank you Sir Josias for such a wonderful experience ✨.

@MaadhavBhatt0Started working on the Slack bot component of Fork This Idea. This is a tool that helps you send project ideas out into the world as you chat and work in Slack.
Follow along in #C08PCRXFN2E| on the Hack Club Slack, GitHub, and here!
@PianoMan00Day 9 of remaking the Hack Club homepage! It is now mobile optimized, and has dark mode and a featured project section!
@PianoMan00Day 7 of remaking the Hack Club homepage! I'm converting to the site to React as fast as I can
@PianoMan00Day 6 of remaking the Hack Club homepage! I'm working on migrating the whole site to React
@NadeenI.0A while ago, I designed the merch + logo for “Jua”, the Athena event in Nairobi by Hack Club! ☀️ I am so lucky to have been part of something this bold and creative (P.S check out #C05T8E9GY64| for girls/gender diverse teens!!)

@Rmardia0Day 7 of #C045S4393CY|. Today I worked on my hacpad case, and got ready for submission. I also worked a little bit more for a Hack Club application in my school.
@SkyfallWasTaken0Day 2/10:
Worked on getting skyfall.dev into 512KB Club and 1MB Club (which involved setting up git-send-email
)! Ended up just removing Sentry to do it (Astro is pretty damn efficient :p) and the homepage is now at 429KB :)
Also added the HC webring switcher + 512KB Club badge + footer on all pages
Meow, mrrow, mrow
Do you get parcels from a random place called hack club and want to see what's on the way and its status? eh, maybe not. But I do, and I don't like going to the shipment viewer because it's outside slack, i need to put in my email, get a link, annoying on mobile, ugghhh. (joking, it's a great site :) )
But what if you didn't have to do that? What if... it was in Slack. Introducing @PostPuppy ! Visit the app home to see all your packages just like you would on the shipment viewer. you can even opt to get notified when the status changes. oh, and if the email you use for slack is the same that you get mail to, it'll auto sign you in! (If you use a different email, you can open settings, enter an email and get a verification link sent to you)
@Gus0I've been meaning to get back into posting here, so maybe I'll do a little bit of catch-up to get started... for now, here's something recent: I made a ton of logos for the hack club logo rotation! here's a few:
@Olly-U082MNEHH1U0I have emailed my teachers to let them know about my club
@khang2009230extracted transcription from hack club's ama with nicky case
@Gus0Yesterday I helped run the computer science table at our school district's middle school academy fair! talking hundreds of middle schoolers was very taxing, but it actually went great, we had a crowd around our table the entire time!
I obviously advertised Hack Club a ton even though I was low on posters & flyers-- people loved the Sprig, the LED matrix (upcoming ysws 👀), the stickers, and most of all, the game! I projected my #C07MUFXNG82| pinball game onto the ceiling to draw people over & gave candy to people who could score 1000! I wanted to buy a gong with school budget that we could hit every time someone beat the high score, but even though it (shockingly) got approved it didn't arrive in time.
Definitely gonna recreate this setup in the future!
@Rrr0Today I worked a lot on #C084UELDWRJ| (TheHackMic) logistics, I also worked a little on the hack club shop! Later today I got a podcast recording with @/jps which I am super excited for!
@Rrr0Heya! Today I plan to work more on Cascade and the Hack Club Shop!
@SilverCanvas720Printed out all my posters for my club today, ready to hang for tomorrow
@Rrr0Hey yaal! Did lots of work today 🙂 Lots of choir work for the concert, bioing for the bio final + a bit of math
For hc work I did boba drops bts (airtable stuff) and announced that cascade is ending early 😞 + I worked with @/jps for updating the toolbox, check it out (lots of new stuff) toolbox.hackclub.com. Lastly worked with @Mohamad on launching his ysws.
Tmrw I plan to work on the hack club shop + toolbox and more ysws stuff
@Rrr0Made some edits to the toolbox and worked on the hack club shop!
@SayhanRahman0Finished making my hacker card today. My club members are still making theirs although they might need more time. Hopefully it all works out
