Meow, mrrow, mrow Do you get parcels from a random place called hack club and want to see what's on the way and its status? eh, maybe not. But I do, and I don't like going to the shipment viewer because it's outside slack, i need to put in my email, get a link, annoying on mobile, ugghhh. (joking, it's a great site :) ) But what if you didn't have to do that? What if... it was in Slack. Introducing @PostPuppy ! Visit the app home to see all your packages just like you would on the shipment viewer. you can even opt to get notified when the status changes. oh, and if the email you use for slack is the same that you get mail to, it'll auto sign you in! (If you use a different email, you can open settings, enter an email and get a verification link sent to you)

I made a productivity based IOS app; It's intended to create a sense of urgency and competition while gamifying the studying process. Today I added the last few significant "things" to the game (the stuff worth mentioning). I added a win screen, an option to mute the volume on the main menu, some warning messages on the main menu, and an icon for the window and the executable file (though that isn't visible on the recording). I also made a quick soundtrack for the menu and main levels (I just need one more). Next is finishing off the media for the game (trailer, itch page, etc) and then I can release/ship it!🎉 github.com/snej55/paper-world (the game is called Defblade, not paperworld btw).

Today i began web development on the flask server for my ship. here is the current state of the page its not hooked up to the live data. The Styling is almost complete i just have to upload the logo.

🚢 BOIDS! 🚢 Have you ever looked at birds in the sky and wondered... I wonder what the mathematical calculations for there movement were? You probably haven't but if you have, that's a real thing! It's called Boids. It's based on 3 rules (separation, cohesion, alignment) and can make some movements that look like schools of fish 🐟 or bird 🐦 movement, it can even make really satisfying timelapses! So over the last week-ish I decided to make a pygame script to simulate these Boids and create a program to see these mesmerizing patterns thats a mix between art and music! You can check out the code (and compile it yourself to run) here (give it a star maybe :p) , if you want to read more about boids, the wikipedia page is pretty good and there are a bunch of articles about it. today i started codeboard, my prototype for a platform that lets you go from idea to ship as fast as possible. it's my first time using react, so development is slow, but i should have the homepage done by christmas (hopefully?).

I've just finished my Ultimate Tic Tac Toe. About to ship now! I finalised the system, and implemented a number of bug fixes. I didn't add an AI opponent, but I might release an update with it another time.

in LA where we were surrounded by 50+ girls & non-binary in tech, helping organize one of the most incredible hackathons i've been to this year. of course, we still wanted to take the opportunity to build & ship a technical project so we spent majority of the day working on this AR simulation of a SpaceX Falcon 9 landing wherever you held up the SpaceX

. we were content with mediocrity until, in a last-minute turn of events (and a motivating conversation with @zrl ), we realized we wanted to make something more meaningful

. something that addressed a real issue & we could own 100% of the code

with. and what’s the #1 problem facing youth in america 🦅 today? that’s right. there are no resources for underage gambling.

🇺🇸 so, from the hours of 1–5 am, @michelle and i went all in. armed with vanilla web dev, 2+ crash-outs, and sleep deprivation, we built a GAMBLING WEBSITE FOR MINORS. our project bridges the accessibility gap by offering an educational experience to prepare the next generation for the risks of losing it all. 🎲

Hey guys. Today I am hoping to ship my Password Generator project. I think the title gives away what this website does, but for more details, it's a website where you can generate a random, very safe password. It needs some polish and a couple cool features, so that's what I am working on right now. It's just a tip of the iceberg for me. I am learning JavaScript at the moment, and this is a project which will and already did teach me a lot. I will ship a couple or dozen more projects of similar scale, but my final project is going to be big... something I have never done before.

worked on this some time ago but didn't ship. been a bit curious about brainfuck so i hacked together an interpreter in Zig. i think there's room for making the code more concise but it works. Not a #C07PZMBUNDS| ship yet, but I made two Fillout form templates that make quality-of-life improvements for HCB organizations like #C07H1R2PW9W| on handling donation invoice requests and receiving US bank checks without ping-ponging over email. 1. Request donation invoice for donors template - Use this form template to receive donation invoice requests from individuals and companies, with instructions for ACH/wire/Swift transfers and US bank checks if they choose either of the two over paying online via credit/debit card or direct debit. 2. Deposit US bank checks - Let your donors send you photos of their bank checks without even mailing into HCB's mailing address, allowing HCB organizations to process them as soon as they receive it, especially when mapped into a donation invoice. If you are using them, make sure to tweak the organization name and your sponsors@your-domain.tld email address as needed.

Ship #1 of High Seas! Today I made sprig CLI, which as the name suggests, is a CLI tool for the Sprig! It allows you to check the firmware version, upload new firmware and upload a game! So long are the days of using the Sprig editor to flash a game, now you can do it all within your own machine!

hiii 1 more launch! this one's the kicker, and I don't see any reason I can't share it with you guys! this summer, I built BioRSP (Biological Radar Scanning Plots)—an open-source tool that took a huge amount of time, effort, and dedication LOL I barely got sleep working BioRSP is designed to enhance the analysis of single-cell gene expression patterns by simulating radar-like scanning across cell clusters. It’s a major step forward in bioinformatics, particularly for those of us focused on spatial transcriptomics and understanding cellular heterogeneity. What does that mean? Imagine trying to figure out what’s going on at a massive concert. You can hear some people singing loudly, others talking quietly, and some areas where it’s just silent. But if you were up in the sky with a radar, you could scan the crowd from different angles and figure out exactly where the loudest singers are, where groups of people are talking, and where it’s completely quiet. In a similar way, BioRSP helps scientists "scan" groups of cells to find out which ones are "singing" (expressing genes) the loudest, which ones are "whispering," and which ones are silent. This tool is super important for discovering new insights about how cells work together in tissues, like in our hearts or brains. Basically, I wanted it to be a completely new way to visualize and analyze spatial gene expression patterns. Currently, prelim results show that it outperforms traditional methods, like Polar Gini Curves, in detecting subtle and significant spatial patterns. I've also successfully used in a case study involving neonatal mouse heart tissue
